Starting on Sunday, July 22nd, join us at 9:30am as we begin a new study of Scripture focusing on Biblical morals & ethics.
In this study we’ll delve into some common terminology we hear in this area of study along with some general categories of ethical terms. We’ll discuss in depth upon what or whom we base morals & ethics on, & how they apply to individuals, societies, actions, situations, & countries.
Once we lay this foundation, we’ll delve into the really fun & challenging part of the class. The second part of the class will be talking through real world case studies & scenarios that affect you and me today and using the ethical knowledge we’ve learned to work through certain situations. We won’t just be talking about whether stealing is wrong or not, but some of the more complex issues facing Christians today that every Christian should have an answer for.
Finally, we’ll end with how becoming more familiar with the foundation & application of morals & ethics not only helps us live in accordance with what God whats, but individually grows our walk in Christ & our confidence in living in a world which is increasingly confused about what & how to apply any sort of moral or ethic, particularly ones from Scripture.
It’s going to be a great class, starts at 9:30am, see you there!
