AMAZING GRACE PRESCHOOL – school has begun as of September 6th!
Located here at the Northern Hills Church of Christ, Amazing Grace is a perfect location between both Belle Fourche and Spearfish. If you are looking for a wonderful , nurturing learning environment for your child with an amazing curriculum, wonderful, qualified teachers in a beautiful country setting with lots of room to learn and grow then Amazing Grace is the preschool for you and your child. Recognized around the area as one one of the top preschools, AGP graduates gain a solid educational foundation for kindergarten and beyond while looking forward to the fun & friends at preschool everyday!
More than that, Amazing Grace is not just about the students in the classroom, but is extremely family oriented. Tina says, “Amazing Grace is a family, not just the kids and I but many parents have become good friends. I love parents years later sending me videos of their kids doing things later in 3rd grade and saying how she had such a great foundation from Amazing Grace.” Amazing Grace, in partnership with Northern Hills Church of Christ as well as other area churches, makes an effort to take care of the whole family if needed, and that is part of Amazing Grace’s mission too! If you’d like to make a donation towards a scholarship for a family & student, please contact us!
There is a 3-4 year old classroom and a 4-5 year old classroom with classes running full this year!

Both Amazing Grace teachers this year have an incredible passion for kids, and fully believe in teaching kids in fun ways while holding high academic standards.
Tina Crim, 4-5 Year Olds – Tina is excited to be heading up the 10th school year for Amazing Grace Preschool. Not only is Tina the school’s director but she also helped found the school in 2006. 10 years and over 150 graduates later she still finds every new year exciting and her passion for teaching kids about Jesus renewed. She says she started the school mainly as a ministry for kids. “I taught at Mustard Seed Christian in Belle Fourche before Amazing Grace, and I simply fell in love with teaching the kids; not only the academics, but seeing their faces light up when they learn about Jesus!” While every new year brings its own challenges, she wants everyone in the area to come through Amazing Grace. “Your child will be loved, safe, will learn, and will have fun in learning here!” Tina lives in Belle Fourche with her husband Steve, and have together raised two adult girls.
Amy Pruett, 3-4 Year Olds– Amy is excited to start her first year teaching at Amazing Grace! While she stays extremely busy with her family & ministry at Northern Hills, she jumped at the chance to come on board for this school year. “This is something I believe in, not only as a ministry and an outreach for the church but also as a parent of a preschooler. Having seen first hand the kids learn and their excitement, I can’t imagine my son going anywhere else for preschool.” Amy is looking forward to seeing the changes in the students from September to May and being a part of seeing that growth take place. Amy lives in Spearfish with her husband Thomas, who is also the minister at Northern Hills Church of Christ, along with their three kids, the middle one of which will be in her class this year at Amazing Grace.
“My four year old wrote her family members names all by herself and is beginning to read, I am so proud! Thank you Amazing Grace Preschool for the education and fun loving experience for our children I could go on and on!”
“Kristina Crim absolutely loved the kids and had such a passion for teaching. Not only did I feel our daughter was in good hands and very much cared for, but the teaching & curriculum is by far the best I have seen!! We enrolled our daughter when she was 4 years old and again when she was 5. After her first year she was already reading. And by 5 reading very fluently in her own books. Our daughter absolutely loves school and loves to read and I very much thank Mrs Crim for instilling that in her at such a young age. Also to give a learning environment that teachers our children about the Lord, to pray in class and pray for eachother meant the world to us!! I really believe the first couple years of schooling for a child with the right teacher sets the tone for their future & love of learning! If Mrs Crim had a kindergarten program we would have continued for another year. Now still today as my daughter goes into first grade she still talks about Amazing Grace preschool and wants to go back!!! Thank you Kristina Crim for making a difference in these sweet little lives!!!” Tina Wolterstorff
“Weston did amazing in Kindergarten. I am grateful for you! He is reading very well now:)”
